Advisor Career Description

A registered representative/advisor is an independent contractor responsible for developing and offering family and businesses financial plans. The objective is to help businesses and families pursue their financial goals. Prospecting for new clients, recommending life insurance, investment products , 401k solutions, banking products and services, and providing personal service and support to our clients are integral responsibilities of this position. Advisors work one-on-one with prospective clients to craft a customized financial plan. A registered representative/advisor will offer annual planning updates to all clients to help them stay on track and in pursuit of financial security and success. The advisor is an active participant in survivor care, helping families face the death of a loved one and ensuring that personal and financial wishes are the carried out. As our clients' estates grow, advisors offer services designed to help them avoid excessive taxes and safeguard assets.

Essential Advisor Responsibilities

· Effectively presents the benefits of financial plans.
· Prospects and network s to attract and establish new clients.
· Responds to all clients' servicing needs.
· Participates in the administration and implementation of all local marketing events.
· Maintains client information in a computer database administered by the company.
· Participates in office support and administration.
· A willingness to follow company directives, rules, and procedures.

Performance Measures

· Meeting established client acquisition goals.
· Submitting timely and suitable financial plan recommendations.
· Ability to work with others in the office, district, region and home office.
· Completing all compliance and continuing education requirements.
· Adhering to Macro Advisors, Inc. directives, policies, and procedures.
· Complying with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
· Favorable comments from clients and prospective clients.
· Managing multiple projects in an dynamic environment.
· Knowledge, skills and abilities (competencies) required.
· This position requires high visibility, personal interaction with the local community. There is great degree of emphasis onhelping businesses and families meet their financial needs. Thus, solid communications skills (particularly verbal), sales ability, self confidence, a strong desire to succeed and attention to detail are required to assist out select clientele.

Working Conditions

· Advisors work in a normal office environment and will utilize a personal computer, telephone, copier, and electronic facsimile machines to conduct business. An automobile is necessary to visit clients/prospective clients on base/post, at their homes or businesses throughout the local community.
